The Homework club started when the mothers of the children registered in our Kindergarten shared the worries about their older kids: they didn’t study, they didn’t do homework, they were not motivated to go to school and their grades were going lower and lower.
The mothers, many illiterate, can’t help their kids in their homework and asked us to it for them.
For the first meeting we had around 12 kids, ages varied from 6 to 16, all subjects needed attention.
As the club continued the attendance only increased and we got to have 36 kids at once, in a small office room. All wanted to be helped and started to improve in school.
Our hearts are for needy, the downcast, the broken, to help them look for a better life, helping them in as many areas as we can.
